'The quality of the film was outstanding, but what truly set it apart was the power of the storytelling. It didn't just inform - it moved us. Staff were deeply engaged, and the impact on our approach to the issue has been profound. This wasn't just a training tool; it was a catalyst for change.'

All of our film work is carried out under the auspices of 2Pears Films, a creative partnership born from the collaboration between Narrative Alchemy and SkinnyBoy Films. Through 2Pears, we unite research-based expertise in narrative theory and the power of story with two decades of professional film-making experience to create cinematic, emotionally resonant films that make a difference.
Our projects span public awareness and social media campaigns, as well as internal training and development films for organisations across the UK. Each production is crafted with the same attention to detail, authenticity, and creative integrity that defines all of our work with young people and communities.
From research, consultation, and scripting through to casting, directing, and post-production, every stage of the process is handled collaboratively - ensuring that each film is both creatively compelling and strategically effective.
You can view examples of our work below. For more information, visit the 2Pears Films website to learn more about our shared approach, explore our latest projects, and watch trailers and selected full films.

'Just a Coffee' was commissioned by Leicester City Council as part of their campaign to normalise and support breastfeeding in public spaces. The project aimed to challenge stigma and empower new mothers by showing positive, real-world experiences of feeding in cafés and community venues.
Under the 2Pears Films banner, we created a short film for use in local venues and training settings, alongside a series of bite-sized social media videos designed to reach wider audiences online. The campaign was distributed across Leicester’s social media channels and shown in participating cafés, libraries, and children’s centres, helping to spark conversation and shift perceptions around breastfeeding in public.
'The Bigger Picture' is a short training film that we developed for Leicestershire County Council. The film is used as part of a training package for individuals and agencies involved in providing Early Help to families in the county.
'All the `Little Things' is a short film that was commissioned by The City of London Police, for an event that they were running in association with The City of London Corporation. The event explored the impact of micro-aggressions in the workplace, and the film was used as a stimulus and 'kick-start' for conversation.
'Hate Hurts' is a short film that was commissioned by Northamptonshire based charity 'Pearls of Peace', to help raise awareness around the impact that Hate Crime can have on people.
Narrative Alchemy were commissioned by The City of London Police to create three films that told the stories of nine victims of fraud. Based on verbatim interviews, the films details what happened to people, how they were manipulated into handing over vast sums of money, and the very real impact that fraud, in all it's forms, can have on people.
"Wish Me Luck' is a short training film that was developed for Rotherham Social Services. The film is used as part of an 'exploring good practice' training session for individuals and agenicies involved in 'Child in Need' meetings.
