Our co-artistic director (and head of wellbeing) Gemma Paget has been granted funding by Northamptonshire Community Foundation to research, develop and deliver a series of workshops that utilise the open-heartedness of clowning to explore mental health and wellbeing issues with local community groups and performers. Gemma, who is also a trained and practicing drama-therapist, will also research and develop a toolbox to support creatives’ mental health and wellbeing during rehearsals, collaborative processes, performances and tours.

It was a pleasure to deliver ‘Behind Closed Doors’, our Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control awareness raising play, for the 5th year medical students at The University of Cambridge’s School of Clinical Medicine. The play formed part of the students’ awareness day on Violence as a Public Health Problem, which saw us deliver alongside Cambridge Women’s Aid and Dr Adrian Boyle.
